Meet other local parents, find out about reusable nappies, claim a voucher and give and take preloved reusable nappies and baby clothes at Hackney Nappy Networks Reusable Nappy Meet and Give & Take.
Bring clean, good quality reusable nappies and baby clothes that you no longer need (no toys) and take away items for free (no need to bring to take).
Residents living in our voucher participating London Boroughs can apply for their £70 reusable nappy voucher on the day. Please bring your supporting documents – proof of ID, address and proof of pregnancy or birth of child to apply on the day.
Reusable nappy demonstrations and advice are available, but as the event can get busy – we recommend that anyone new to reusable nappies attends one of Hackney Nappy Network’s monthly demonstrations at Hackney Central Library for more detailed information, or attend our reusable nappy demonstrations at Nappy Ever After on the first Tuesday of every month. Join us for a special Reusable Nappy Week meet-up, co-hosted with Hackney Nappy Network. Parents and carers are invited to come along with their babies to connect, meet others, and share their experiences of reusable nappies–whatever stage you’re at.
We’re also inviting families to take part in a baby and toddler Reusable Nappy Fashion Show. Dress your little one in their favourite reusable nappy and celebrate Reusable Nappy Week in a fun way.

Real Nappies for London is a waste prevention initiative administered by Wen (Women’s Environmental Network). We operate a voucher incentive scheme helping Londoner’s get started with reusable nappies. Waltham Forest Cloth Nappy Library
Waltham Forest Cloth Nappy Library exists to help parents and parents-to-be navigate through, what can feel like, the bewildering world of cloth nappies. They hold monthly, free information sessions where you can look at and talk with them and other parents about the different types of nappies, how they work and how to get started using them.
If you would like to try some nappies out before buying, they have trial kits and individual nappies available to loan. Their friendly and supportive chat group, Waltham Forest Cloth Bums, is the place to buy, sell or swap nappies with other local parents, seek advice and keep up-to-date with events and discount codes. Hackney Nappy Network
The Hackney Nappy Network is a group of parents and carers using reusable nappies. The network offers free reusable nappy advice based on their own experience and from the industry. They hold reusable nappy demonstrations at Hackney Central Library and host quarterly Reusable Nappy Meet Up and Give & Take events at the Roundchapel Old School Rooms. East London Sling Library
The East London Sling Library is a not-for-profit volunteer run facility, collecting and offering for hire many different types of baby carrier to parents and expectant parents. They offer advice and support you to use the carriers comfortably and safely. At each session experienced babywearers attend to help ensure you and your little one are comfy and safe. Advice is free and hires cost between £5 and £10 for 2 weeks hire. The money they charge for hires goes directly back into the library to get more carriers in order to help more people!
