At Real Nappies for London, we are passionately committed to creating a more sustainable and environmentally conscious Kingston. Our purpose is to inspire and actively encourage people to embrace reusable nappies as a smarter, healthier, and eco-friendly choice, leading the way towards a greener future for both the present and future generations to come.
We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with Kingston Council to bring to you a series of reusable nappy events across the borough throughout 2023 and 2024. As part of this initiative, we’re also excited to offer a limited supply of £50 nappy vouchers to expectant parents, parents and foster carers with a baby under 18 months (or under 5 who has a disability requiring the use of nappies) living in Kingston who want to buy reusable nappies.

Free Reusable Nappy Voucher
Apply for a reusable nappy voucher worth £50
If you are an expectant parent, a parent or a foster carer living in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames with a baby under 18 months or under the age of 5 with a disability requiring nappies, you are eligible to apply for a £50 nappy voucher. Your voucher can assist with the upfront cost of buying reusable nappies or contribute to a paid-for washable nappy laundry service.
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames has joined our voucher incentive scheme for the 2023/24 financial year (April – March). Since 1st December 2023, we opened up the eligibility criteria to all expectant parents, and parents or foster carers with a baby under 18 months, living in Kingston. Previously the scheme was offering £50 vouchers to only low-income families claiming council tax reduction.

- Speak with our project partner to learn more about reusable nappies, ask questions, and understand the Real Nappies for London scheme.
- Purchase reusable nappies and explore different brands through a reusable nappy retailer pop-up shop.
- Exchange your unwanted baby clothes for other baby clothes, free of charge, at our ‘give & take’ stall.
- Connect with a local nappy library to register your interest in renting reusable nappies.
- Connect with other like-minded Kingston residents who are also interested in sustainable options for their families.
Alternatively, you can apply online by completing the application form and submitting the above supporting documents (Proof of Identity, Proof of Address/Low-Income in the form of a council tax deduction letter, Proof of Pregnancy/Birth of your child).
