REUSABLE NAPPY VOUCHER APPLICATION
Real Nappies for London works with London Boroughs to help reduce disposable nappy waste. If you live in one of the voucher participating boroughs below and you are a parent or foster carer with a baby under 18 months, or soon to be expecting a baby, you can apply for a nappy voucher worth up to £70 to help with the upfront cost of buying reusable nappies, or put towards a trial paid-for laundry service. Please remember it is one voucher per baby. Foster carers must get in touch with Real Nappies for London before completing the application form.
We aim to process your application for a reusable nappy voucher within two working days. Please ensure you complete the form correctly and send us all three of the requested supporting documents straight away. During busy periods it may take a little longer to process your application. Details on voucher scheme eligbility
WHO CAN APPLY FOR A REUSABLE NAPPY VOUCHER:
- A parent with a baby aged under 18 months;
- A parent-to-be;
- Foster carers with a baby under 18 months, or expecting to care for a baby under the age of 18 months. NB: Please get in touch with Real Nappies for London before applying. Foster carers will be required to send a proforma document from the relevant fostering provider showing foster care placement in the applicant’s name of the child aged under 18 months.
- A reusable nappy voucher is available to residents with disabled children up to the age of 5 years old who requires the use of nappies due to a disability. NB: Applicants must submit a letter from a health professional that states that the child is expected to be wearing nappies for the next 18 months.
- Kingston upon Thames – low-income residents living in Kingston who are eligible for council tax deduction with a baby under 18 months, or expecting a baby.
Voucher Participating London Boroughs:
- Barnet, Bexley, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Kingston upon Thames (see eligibility above), Lambeth, Waltham Forest and the City of Westminster.
