Hackney Real Nappy Network
Join Hackney Real Nappy Network at Dalston Library to find out all you need to know about reusable nappies. Whether you are pregnant and wondering how it all works or you have a little one and are considering using reusable nappies, or you need help with troubleshooting, you are welcome to the demo! Everyone is welcome no matter what stage you are at.
Hackney Real Nappy Network has officially joined forces with the lovely Mel who tirelessly runs Wrap a Hug Sling Library. Mel will bring her sling library and do a newborn sling demo from 11am; perfect if you are expecting or already have a newborn and want to get some general tips or specific help, or get your sling hire sorted for your little one. For 1-2-1 advice and hires, please contact Mel directly to make an appointment.
VENUE : Dalston CLR James Library is very easily accessible by bike, bus, or overground (Dalston Junction). We will be in the ground floor foyer where the Library of Things is located. There is plenty of space for buggies and is fully accessible.
The demo will start at 10am. It will last approximately 40 minutes and the team will explain the different types of reusable nappy, how to use, store, wash, with a Q+A at the end. Joy from Nappy Ever After will also be on hand with a pop-up shop where you can spend your voucher and/or sign up to their handy nappy laundry service. Brands stocked include BumGenius, Thirsties, Disana, Totsbots, and their own brand organic cotton prefolds and cotton fitted nappies.
