Real Nappies for London has been working with London boroughs, child health professionals and real nappy suppliers since July 2007.

Real Nappies for London was established by the Women's Environmental Network (WEN) and is now run by the environmental charity London Community Resource Network (LCRN).

Most boroughs that have signed up to RNfL offer a cash incentive/voucher (values vary between £25 - £54.15) to help residents with the upfront cost of the purchase of real nappies. Other boroughs have signed up to RNFL to help their residents find out where to buy real nappies locally. Real Nappy Gift Vouchers enable friends, family and colleagues to help new parents buy real nappies.
