    Real Nappies for London is holding a potty training workshop to share knowledge and ideas: on 11 May at Nappy Ever After. Booking essential as space is limited

    This one is based on the Department of Health's 'Birth to five' book: www.childrenfirst.nhs.uk

    Have you considered introducing a potty at an early age? This approach - known as Natural Infant Hygiene, Elimination Communication (ec) or Diaper-free can be used from birth and is often more practical than it might at first seem.

    This one recognises the problem of stay-dry nappies www.nhs.uk


    And this is a lovely Australian one that introduces the idea of signing - so potty training is not dependent on speech www.australianbabyhands.com

    Is your child's nursery willing to help? Imperial College Nursery

    In March 2011 RNfL carried out an on-line survey into potty training. It revealed that only a tiny percentage of parents are given guidance on potty training from Health Visitors. It also showed that children that wear potty training disposable pants tend to take much longer to make the transition to pants, than those that don't. To read more
