Nappy Incentive Schemes

Established by the Women’s Environmental Network in 2006, Real Nappies for London stands as a pioneering waste prevention initiative working in partnership with local government, businesses, grassroots community organisations, and residents in a collective effort to reduce disposable nappy waste and single-use plastic. Our circular economy approach, actively promoting the use of reusable nappies, places waste prevention at the forefront, enabling individuals to make healthier and more sustainable choices.

Local Authorities participating in the Real Nappies for London Voucher Scheme

The following London Boroughs: Barnet, Bexley, Camden, City of Westminster, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Kingston upon Thames, Lambeth and Waltham Forest – have all joined the Real Nappies for London voucher incentive scheme. Our innovative scheme helps provide a nudge to influence residents living in those boroughs to try reusable nappies and reduce disposable nappy waste.
