Women's Environmental Network (WEN) is a registered charity educating, informing and empowering women and men who care about the environment. It has campaigned to raise awareness of the environmental impacts associated with disposable nappies and to promote the use of washable cloth ('real') nappies to reduce that impact since 1989. WEN developed and established the Real Nappies for London scheme, now run by the London Community Resource Network (LCRN).
WEN also runs a Real Nappy Exchange, which puts buyers and sellers of used real nappies in touch with one another.
